Hi, I’m
Miguel Ángel Cabrera
I was born in 1985 in Malaga, Spain. I love cinema, reading books and comics and listening to jazz and rock. I am a school teacher.
I started doing travel photography back in 2018, but soon became captivated by the daily mystery of the street. Now I like to lose myself in the lights and shadows of the streets and capture them in a jazz mood.
EXHIBITIONS
I’m so happy and grateful to Treviso Photographic Festival, Lab77 Associazione and its curator Fabio Cavessago for choosing my work for the fourth edition of the festival in 2021. It was an honour having my photos in the Bailo Museum together with great artists that I admire. It has been an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much.
In 2021 Lab77 Associazione and Fabio Cavessago as the curator selected my work for the Venice Photo Lab festival. I was so grateful for the opportunity of exhibiting my work in a magical city like Venice.
In 2022 Cultura Inquieta and Iberdrola Foundation selected my work for the “El Verano de Nuestras Vidas II” . I was so happyl for the opportunity of exhibiting my work in Retiro´s Park in Madrid.
In 2023 Leica Iberia in collaboration with Málaga´s town hall selected my work for the exhibition “Málaga at Glance”. I was proud for the opportunity of exhibiting my work in my hometown.

First place in the Visual Korner and “The Street Photography Club” 2024 contest with a group exhibition in Barcelona.
Finalist in Istanbul Street Photography Festival 2024 and part of the group exhibition.
Honorable mention in Vienna International Photo Award 2024 and part of the exhibition group.
Member of the Jota Barros street photography club: “El club de fotografía callejera”.
